West Bengal Primary Teacher Exam Syllabus: WB Primary Teacher Exam Pattern, Selection Process:
WB Primary Teacher Examination & Syllabus Pattern: Recruitment for primary teacher on 42949 posts will be based on below mentioned marks obtained in various examination and extra curricular activities:
| 1. | Higher Secondary pass under the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent | 05 |
| 2. | Madhyamik pass under the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent | 10 |
| 3. | Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) | 05 |
| 4. | Training as prescribed in sub-rule (2) of rule 6 | 15 |
| 5. | Viva-Voce or Interview | 05 |
| 6. | Extra Curricular Activities | 05 |

In the above-mentioned marks distribution for WB Primary Teacher Examination 2016 five marks which will be given for extra curricular will based on the following manner:

The West Bengal Board of Primary Education will conduct examination for TET-2014 qualified candidates on 42949 vacant posts of primary teacher. The marks distribution has been mentioned above; the WB Primary Teacher Examination Pattern will be based on two major selection procedure:
(i) Aptitude Test
(ii) Personal Interview
The candidates will be selected as per their performance in these two selection procedure and the marks obtained in above-mentioned marks distribution.
