NVS Exam Pattern 2016: For the posts of PGTs, TGTs, Miscellaneous Teachers and TGTs (III Language) NVS 2016 Exam Pattern is same while for the posts ofAssistant Commissioner and Principal, the exam pattern is different. The detailed information is given in the given table -:

Note: For PGT posts the difficulty level of the question papers will be of Post Graduation standard while for TGT post and others, the difficulty level will be of Graduation standard.

NVS TGT PGT Selection Process 2016-2017: There will be two selection phases to shortlist the eligible candidates for the vacant 2072 posts.
Note: For the post of TGTs, Miscellaneous Teachers (Librarian) and TGTs (III Language), only Written exam would be conducted and it’d be the only selection criteria by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti for these posts.
Phase-1: Written Exam
Phase-2: Interview
Written Exam: Applicants will be called to appear in the written exam. After conducting the exam successfully, cut off would be decoded by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti and the candidates who qualify in the written exam would be called for the Phase-2.
Interview: Candidates, qualified in the written exam, would be eligible to appear for the Interview round. Different cut-off would be decided for the Interview round.
NVS 2016: Final Selection: According to the no. of vacant seats, candidates getting higher rank in Written exam and Interview round, would be selected.
