How to download UPSC ESE Admit Card 2017?
- Visit official Website upsc.gov.in
- Click on “Engineering Service (Preliminary) Examination 2017” from “what new” section
- Another window will option
- Click on E-Admit Card
- General Instruction will be shown on the screen, take print out of that and click on yes option
- There will be two options to download admit card- By Registration Id and By Roll number
- Enter registration ID or Roll Number correctly
- Check all the details and take a printout of admit card for further use.

Important Highlights of UPSC ESE Exam 2017
- UPSC changed the two-tier exam pattern into 3 tier system which includes Preliminary/Stage-1(Objective Type Papers), Mains/Stage-II (Conventional Type Papers) and Personality Test.
- ESE 2017 Syllabus has included General Studies and Engineering Aptitude Paper which was only General Ability before
- Geography Civics, Biology, History and English is completely removed
- Conventional Paper Weightage has been increased by 100 Marks
- Objective paper weight has been reduced by 100 Marks
- ESE paper will be of 1100 marks (written-objective +conventional) and 200 marks (Personality Test) which will be a total of 1300 marks.

Negative Marking Scheme
- One- third (0.33) marks assigned to the wrong answer will be deducted as penalty.
- If no answer is given to question, there will be no penalty for that question
